iTranslator is a very basic application that lets you translate texts to/from 13 languages, including main European languages, as well as Korean, Chinese and Japanese. Using the program is as easy as pasting a text into the window, selecting the desired language and pushing the translate button. Although the range of supported languages is impressive and the speed of translation is high, the quality of translations leaves much to be desired. In our tests, we mainly tried to translate texts from various languages to English and Russian. The program does a little bit better job of translating texts to English than to Russian. Translations to Russian are really poor, the main problem being that the program fails to use the right meanings of words.

Some customization options that the program lacks (like the opportunity to add templates, specify text type, etc.) could have resulted in more sensible translations. However, the current program version lacking any settings provides absurd translations due to polysemy existing in most languages. Of course you can use this app if you don't need a quality translation, but just want to grasp the general idea of a text, but if that's the case, you can use the many free online services instead.
