TSIG

Dynamic Update Tester is an application to test dynamic updates (RFC2136) on DNS servers. The latest version supports secure updates using transaction signatures (RFC2845). DynSite automatically updates your dynamic IP address each time it changes on one or many dynamic DNS services or by email. This allows anyone to connect to the servers running on your own computer using a fully qualified domain name. Since your host name never changes it makes accessing your servers much easier than using your IP address which changes each time you reconnect. This is also useful when you want to remotely control your PC.

The DNS Library is a COM object that makes dynamic DNS updates to BIND, Microsoft and other RFC-2136-compatible DNS servers possible from any scripting languages in an easy way. The library supports the following record types: A, MX, SRV, NS, CNAME, PTR, TXT. The library implements 5 components: DnsLibrary.Server, DnsLibrary.Resolver, DnsLibrary.Authentication, DnsLibrary.ResourceRecord, DnsLibrary.ResourceRecordSet. Secure updates supported.

With WinIP, your machine will get a fully qualified domain name. Even if your computer's internet address is dynamically assigned, people can connect to your machine's FTP, WWW, IRC or other server by using your single hostname, recognized on the entire Internet. WinIP can manage multiple hostnames pointing to different IP addresses.

This tool can generate a TSIG key value (base64) for you very easily. The key value complies with RFC2845. Secret Key Transaction Authentication for DNS (TSIG) is a secure method of authenticating clients making dynamic DNS update requests. The client application and the DNS server share a secret key value which is used to sign (HMAC-MD5) each update request. You can think of the key name as a user ID, and the key value as a password.

This Tool create self-signed test certificates (X.509 v3) for private use. It is very easy to create and you can encrypt your data with this certificate.
